About Sheila
Sheila ministers in the prophetic and moves in many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. She sings in the prophetic and ministers impartations to others. She is following God's call to teach others about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how to hear the voice of God.
Sheila has been featured on The 700 Club. She has also been a guest on Grace Grace with Nina and Michelle, and on The Remedy Podcast, here in the United States. In Latin America, she has been featured in Club 700 Hoy and Vida Dura programs.
In recent years, Sheila earned a Master of Christian Ministry with High Honors from the Graduate School of Theology & Ministry at Oral Roberts University. She also has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Sheila is married and has three adult sons.

As I Asked the Lord, How Could I help?
I Heard His Voice . . .
I want to share this story so you can see the goodness of God. For many years, before I began my ministry, I’ve had the privilege to serve the Lord by sponsoring many water wells through CBN's ministry.
This work unto the Lord is very close to my heart.
It began many years ago, as I was watching The 700 Club's telethon. I was crying because I was touched by the stories of the need for clean water in the poor areas they were showing on the program. I remember asking out loud to God, “Lord, what can I do? How can I help?” I was a single mom of three small boys with limited resources. I did not know how to hear God's voice, but that day, the Lord responded to me for the first time. The Lord said, “agua.”Agua means water in Spanish. I heard it clearly! I remember saying out loud, “agua, agua.” As I realized what the Lord had just said to me, I was in awe of Him. He answered me! I did not hesitate and immediately, I called The 700 Club (CBN) and asked them about sponsoring a water well. They explained how easy it was, and I signed up for one immediately. That act of obedience has led to so many blessings, not just for others, but for me as well.
I love getting the report from CBN for each water well that includes pictures, the well's location, and information about the previous water source. They provide details about the number of families served, the individuals that gave their lives to God during the dedication ceremony, and some of the prayers and expressions of thanks from the beneficiaries. The plaque in most of the water wells I have sponsored are in honor of my sons. I have also dedicated some in memory of family members and in honor of some friends.
Sheila Ortiz Diaz Ministry does not sponsor water wells, however, this continues to be a cause that I sponsor on a personal level, as l continue to obey God in this area of my life.
